Alemannia - the day after

As some of you might have gathered, my home town footie team Alemannia Aachen won their semi final last night and therefore is now going through to the final in Berlin on May 29th. Now the run for the tickets can begin !

I don't really care what the result will be - this is such a big occasion for the club and its supporters. Whatever the outcome will be, there is one thing they can't take away from us: "We made it to Berlin !".... and most liely into the UEFA Cup !

hallo michael!

Hi Sebastian,

I don't really mind if they have to play in a different stadium. Fair enough, the atmosphere will not be 100% as it is on the Tivoli, but think about the surplus revenue ! They can make FAR MORE money than with the tiny Tivoli (20,400). Also, I think alemannia has to check out their stadium again anyway. It is ancient - there is no doubt about it. If we want to play with the big boys in the Bundesliga next season, we have to think about upgrading the Tivoli.

bad news concerning uefa cup...

(for all non aacheners... aachen was goin to play in uefa cup because the team they would have to beat in the final is already qualified as good for the championsleague so aachen is definitely goin to be the second team that will get the chance to lpay in uefa cup because they are definitely the "semi winners" in the cup because they are in the final)

but know the fact we got to worry about

the stadium of aachen isnt safety enough for an international game and so aachen asked a nearby dutch dlub if it was possible to play in their stadium (the club is rhoda kerkrade). rhoda did not allow aachen to play in the stadium and so it could be possible that aachen does not take part at the uefa cup because they dont have a fitting stadium...

that would be very `"§)$/((§/`§)$
